More about Mara

Mara is a highly skilled entertainment interviewer with a huge passion for discussions which lean into the craft and artistry of creating entertainment. Her experience also includes over two decades of work in producing events, film festival curation and programming, and talent relations.

Having co-founded In Creative Company where she also served as the host of its interviews, she created a platform which amassed over 1100 interviews, in under six years, quite literally talking to thousands of artists within the entertainment industry.

Prior to this, she worked for and moderated events at SAG AFTRA Foundation and has been hired by studios and streamers across the industry to moderate hundreds of panels over the years. She brings an enthusiasm and drive to each conversation and enjoys the art of preparation and research as much as the conversation itself.

She also carries a wealth of experience as an event producer including over a decade worth of history working for film festivals in programming, events and guest relations role. She has held prominent roles in the industry including her time as Director of Panels and Special Events, and Associate Programmer, Film and Television at Tribeca where and also worked at Sundance in guest relations and as a Programming Associate for Film & Episodic. During her time at Tribeca she played a key role in growing both the scope and profile of its talks and events as well as being integral to bringing television and episodic programming into the festival.

With a love of film, television and entertainment she’s proud to work within an industry which brings this to life.

She’s British born and raised with Texan and Scottish parents, and calls America home!
